Wind Energy Center
The City of Roses Wind Energy Center is a 235 megawatt (MW) wind
development in Christian County, IL. The project is an opportunity to
invest in community, create jobs and increase tax revenues while
generating clean, American made energy.
At peak construction, the City of Roses Wind Energy Center is
expected to employ up to 300 people. After construction, the project
will employ up to 9 permanent operations and maintenance (O&M)
staff.
An estimated $4 million will be invested directly into the Christian
County economy through taxes, landowner payments and wages and benefits
every year.
